Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease that a vengeful Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) could be framing Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) for Sonny Kiriakis’ (Zach Tinker) stabbing. Craig supposedly left Salem but could have secretly been hanging around and found both Leo’s revenge list and the knife, which was also used to kill Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller).

Craig will unexpectedly return to town on September 20, shocking Clyde Weston (James Read) and Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo). But he very well may never have left at all, or have been staying in a town nearby instead of returning to New York. Craig had quit his job in New York to take Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) job as Chief of Staff at Salem University Hospital; could he even get it back?

Craig didn’t even contact his daughter, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) after he supposedly went back to New York. Who’s to say if he ever really left Salem or if he hung around to see the fallout from his ruined relationship?

DOOL Spoilers – Craig Wesley Was Duped

Craig was duped by Leo, and he can’t say he was not warned; everyone from Chloe to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Sonny tried to warn him. But he thought he’d found the love of his life in Leo, and couldn’t see the forest for the trees. But when Chad brought in Jackie Cox (Jackie Cox) with a marriage license showing he and Leo were married, that was it. Craig was angry, embarrassed, duped, and felt made a fool of and he couldn’t believe he’d been so naïve; he just had to pack his bags and get out of town. But that doesn’t mean he moved back to New York, he may not have been able to get his former job back.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Off The Deep End?

Craig had never revealed his true self to Nancy all the years they were married; and there may be more he didn’t reveal besides his gayness. Perhaps Craig has had an evil side hidden within himself, a ruthless side that would do anything to get what he wants. Perhaps Craig wanted revenge on Leo for his public embarrassment so badly he’d be willing to kill, and he did, all to the end of framing Leo for it.

Craig could have killed Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and took the knife, with Leo taking the jewelry afterwards. He could have gotten into the wine cellar while Leo was gone and took his list; and then stabbed Sonny and left the telltale evidence, knowing no one trusted Leo.
