Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of January 8th suggest that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will be pleasantly surprised when he sees Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) hasn’t left Salem for China, as originally intended. What stopped her?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – The Jenga Block Did Not Go Unnoticed

Days spoilers note that on Friday, January 5th show, Tripp told Wendy he couldn’t go to China with her because he was concerned over his mom Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) odd behavior.

Still, Wendy was on a mission to head back to her homeland, as her father has been struggling since her brother Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) death.

Both Tripp and Wendy love each other dearly and shared a very emotional goodbye on Friday’s show. Before Ms. Shin headed to the airport, Mr. Johnson slipped a Jenga game block into her bag. This didn’t go unnoticed by many fans.

As Wendy will not end up leaving Salem after all next week, it’s hard not to speculate that the Jenga block could have been a marriage proposal (and a romantic one at that).

DOOL spoilers for 2024 hint at a wedding on Valentine’s Day in Salem. While many couples could be possible candidates to say, “I do”, on the big day, Trendy is at the top of the list.

It did look like Wendy and Tripp broke up during Friday’s show, and maybe his “proposal” was an attempt to ensure he doesn’t lose her; Ms. Shin may see the Jenga block proposal and have a change of heart about leaving town.

After all, her entire life, she’s done what her parents have wanted, and now she has an opportunity to live a life with the man of her dreams.

Then again, Wendy could still stay in Salem because her flight as been delayed or something trivial like that.

However, it’s hard not to think that Tripp had massive romantic intentions with that block and there was a very big reason he placed it in her luggage.
