Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Did Vivian Alamain Fake Stefan DiMera’s Death?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates pose a crucial question; did Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) fake Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) death? There are some very good reasons to suspect that she may have, and that Stefan is actually still alive.

The Video Feed From The DiMera Crypt Was Going To Alamania

Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) met with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) in January 7th’s episode and they discussed the latest-including Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier) being on life support.

The DNA tests on the bones dug up in the crypt had not come back yet, but at least there’s some educated guesses. With Vivian’s photo of Stefan’s presumptive grave, and Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) in town they’re neither of theirs.

However, Rafe has his doubts that Stefan is dead-or if he is, he theorized that Vivian and Stefan had worked together with Peter to split the DiMera fortune.

With no DiMeras left-or at least very few-to inherit the fortune, Stefan would have been the last son of Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) alive.

It Would So Much Be Vivian’s MO To Trap People In A Crypt To Die!

Considering Vivian has buried at least two people alive in her past, it would so much be her MO, or modus operandi, to trap family members in a family crypt and leave them to die!

That is one consideration in Rafe’s theory, and considering Peter had sarin gas and an antidote, that was probably the plan-Peter could have been Vivian’s assassin. But considering, as Rafe noted, if the DiMera inheritance was the focus of the kidnapping plan, none would have gone to Vivian-it would have gone to Stefano’s children.

Presumably, grandchildren and great-grandchildren should have been included but only Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) was targeted. That means Stefan could be alive, but they also theorized Peter may have promised to cut Vivian in on the inheritance.

Could Stefan’s Life Have Been In Danger From Peter?

There is a possibility that Peter was rogue in his mission to kill all the DiMeras, leaving himself as the heir-and Vivian faked Stefan’s death to protect him.

But that still begs the question why the video feed from the cameras inside the crypt was going to Alamania-could it be because it’s Stefan on the other end? It could have been Dimitri but Rafe implied that the video feed was currently being tracked, and Dimitri’s in Salem!

On the other hand, if he’s telling the truth, Dimitri was also kidnapped out of prison, like Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), only he was held captive in Alamania! That leaves Stefan as the one monitoring the video feed from Alamania.
