Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Dimitri Abandons Leo To Face The Music!

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) is desperate to get out of Salem. As viewers know Dimitri tried to kill Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and his new wife Gabi Hernandez (Camilla Banus) for trying to blackmail him. He would have succeeded had Vivian Alamaine (Louise Sorel) not arrived just in time to shoot Dimitri in the back.

Dimitri survived but was hospitalized for several days while he recovered, During this time, the authorities had enough evidence to arrest Dimitri although he couldn’t be taken into police custody until his doctors cleared him medically.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Leo Stark Pledged His Love To Dimitri Von Leuschner

With Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) out of the picture, Dimitri and Leo were able to openly declare their love for one another. Dimitri convinced a skeptical Leo to help him escape so they could stay together.

Although Leo was concerned about what kind of life they could have as fugitives, but he agreed anyway, They knew they had to work fast because once Dimitri was taken into custody Leo would have no chance to facilitate an escape.

DOOL Spoilers – Dr. Wilhelm Rolf Has News For Leo Stark

Dimitri knew that his best hope to escape Salem was with his mother Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson). In fact, Megan had been in the exact same situation that Dimitri is in now just a few weeks prior.

Megan was successfully spirited out of town by Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) via his submarine and Dimitri was hoping to contact either his mother or Rolf so that history could repeat itself. Luckily for Dimitri, Megan had already sent Rolf to retrieve Dimitri, but not Leo!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Dimitri Von Leuschner Leaves Leo Stark Behind!

Although Dimitri told Rolf that Leo would be accompanying them no matter what Megan said. Rolf reminded Dimitri that he wasn’t in charge, Megan was. But Dimitri didn’t care and demanded Leo accompany them.

There wasn’t much time before the submarine would leave and Rolf couldn’t risk staying a minute longer than that. But look for fate to intervene when Leo and Dimitri are separated after a terrible car accident.

Dimitri will likely make it to the submarine alone and order Rolf to leave. Whether or not Dimitri always planned to leave with Leo is unclear. But Leo will quickly realize that Dimitri loves himself more than anyone else.
