DOOL spoilers reveal that Kate finally faced her captor on the fishing boat. Kate was surprised to find out that it was Dimitri. As the two interacted, Dimitri kept coy about his plans. Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Porte spoke to Soap Opera Digest about the villain. The actor said he’s shocked and excited about the many twists in Dimitri’s storyline. Even though Kate and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) happily reunite, the businesswoman is very experienced with DiMera men. It is suggested that Dimitri could be the “new DiMera” theory.

It’s possible that Dimitri and Kate could end up having a fling. That could create some drama with “Kaman.” Plus, it would complicate Kate’s relationships with her loved ones, especially Billie Reed (Lisa Rinna).

Speaking to SOD, Porte teased that Dimitri is a broken man but has a good heart that he’s just learning to use.

“The fun thing that I’ve experienced over this is taking this really aggressive, broken, hardened character and he now is very expressive as to what he is feeling. He is still a broken person, but he has a very good heart and he’s just learning how to use it.”
