Second Chance Couple Number Two: Leo and Dimitri

Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is resolute in his quest to show that Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) is the one for him. However, Javi is uncertain and encourages Leo to delve into his genuine emotions-meanwhile, Leo has just confessed to Dimitri that he is in love with Javi.

In response, Dimitri kissed Leo, indicating that he is not ready to give up. While Leo and Javi seem to be the couple everyone is rooting for, Leo might just take Javi’s advice and explore his feelings with Dimitri.

This gives Dimitri and Leo another opportunity to reignite their chemistry, even if Leo ultimately chooses to stay with Javi.

Second Chance Couple Number Three: Abe And Lexie

With all indications suggesting that Lexie Carver (likely Nikki Crawford in the new role) will soon return, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will have to confront his unresolved feelings for his past love.

Lexie died in Abe’s arms, and is his son Theo Carver’s (Tyler Joseph Andrews) mother.  Although Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) is now Abe’s wife, it doesn’t mean he has completely moved on from Lexie.

This will cause a very difficult situation for Paulina, especially since Lexie had been Abe’s great love. Those emotions could resurface and complicate matters for Abe once Lexie is revealed as the radiant inhabitant of the glowing tube.

Second Chance Couple Number Four: EJ And Cat

EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) may not have officially been a couple before, but they certainly share a special bond. Cat felt a pull towards the comatose, bandaged EJ at the clinic in Italy, although he was clearly not in a state for romance.

However, the dynamics have shifted now that Cat is working as EJ’s assistant and spending considerable time with him. Even though Cat is secretly investigating EJ, her growing attraction to him will increasingly influence their relationship as time progresses.
