Posted on the official DOOL app, Barash was asked questions regarding Stefan and Gabi’s relationship. On the NBC soap opera, it seems that DiMera is blinded by lust.

Even though the actor could not give away any big hints, he did say it’s possible that Stefan might know what Gabi is up to. He added that it is like chess, where one has to learn their opponent. Well, Stefan is definitely getting to know Gabi on every level, that’s for sure.

“It’ll be interesting to see if Stefan suspects what Stefan suspects. If he doesn’t suspect, Gabi gets her way. If she does him in… he could be playing on both teams… you have no idea what he’s thinking… letting the bear walk into the bear trap, trying to see what the behavior is… one of the biggest things about martial arts is that you need to learn your opponent.”

It is true that it seems like Stefan doesn’t know what Gabi is up to. However, history shows that there are always surprises in Salem. It is likely that we are not seeing everything behind the scenes, including Stefan’s thoughts.

      I had so hoped Gabi would NOT do the revenge thing on Stefan!! She is really deeply in love with him, and they’re such a great team! She could literally have it all, but she’s throwing it all away by pulling this revenge routine of kicking him out and telling him all this horrible hurtful stuff… He’s fallen in love with her too, so this is really hurtful to him! But mostly she’s just hurting herself, because I know she really loves him and they could be such a great power couple in-love! They could maybe even have a miracle baby that she thought she could never have and he could have a child he’s always wanted. Together those 2 could have it all… I hope the writers don’t let her throw it all away! Let their love shine!!
