DOOL spoilers for Tuesday reveal that Chad and Johnny strike a deal. Johnny’s main focus right now is making his movie about Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) possession a reality. Johnny has been able to get a few investors, such as Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). However, he likely needs a big investor and Chad would be able to provide that money. It is confirmed that Chad and Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) re-enact a “Jarlena” love scene, so that means Abigail accepts the role of Marlena while Chad gets to play John Black (Drake Hogstyn).

Meanwhile, Chanel has just discovered that Abe is proposing to Paulina Price (Jackée Harry). At first, she was stunned but one Abe explained his reasons for moving so fast, Chanel gave her blessing. Once Chanel left Abe to finish planning his proposal dinner, she heads over to Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price Grant’s (Sal Stowers) place. However, she ends up interrupting “Elani” having a romantic moment.

However, they end up having an awkward run-in with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Finally, Lani will stop stalling and allow Paulina to head home. She will be smitten when Abe has cooked a feast for her including all of her favorite foods. It’s a good thing that Chanel warned Abe that Paulina hates pecan pie.

When Abe gets down on one knee and asks Paulina to be his wife, she will happily accept. However, she can’t help but worry about her secret getting out. Will she finally confess the truth before someone else exposes it? Or will Paulina end up suffering the consequences of keeping such a huge lie from both Abe and Lani?
