Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Stefano Dimera’s (Joe Mascolo) mad scientist, Dr. Rolf (Richard Wharton) has recently offered his condolences to EJ Dimera (Dan Feuerriegel).

Dr. Rolf has also decided that his days as playing Dr. Undeath is over. Dr. Rolf thought he had managed to save Lexi Carver (Nikki Crawford) only to steal her body and stick her in a pod once again.  Who will EJ hire now?

Lexi Carver’s Family Was Crushed

Lexi’s family was crushed when they learned that she was not going to survive despite everything Dr. Rolf had done to save her.

They were more hurt that Lexi didn’t want to be with this knowing that she was dying and believe she was being unfair. Lexi lied to her family and died again without her mother even getting to visit.

Dr Rolf no longer wants to help EJ with his pod products. Rolf doesn’t want to go back to bringing people back from the dead because Stefano wanted him to save Lexi and he failed.

When Dr. Rolf walked away, he left three pods behind. Of course, we know Lexi has been placed back in a pod. The guy from the water company has as well. Fans are wondering, who is in the third pod?

Who Will Be The Next to Come Back From The Dead?

Fan still wonder if Abigail Dimera (last played by Marci Walker) could be in one of those pods. EJ swears he doesn’t have Abby, however, Chad Dimera (Connor Floyd) has never really believed him.

However, spoilers say that Chad and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) will soon reconnect. Could EJ be so upset that he insists that someone bring Abby back for revenge?

Perhaps Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier) is the other person in the pod that was left behind when Dr. Rolf took off. After all, Blake was a lot like Stefano even though he wasn’t his biological son.

Blake also “died” after being given some kind of medication by Dr. Rolf. Did the mad scientist just make it look as though Peter was dead to bring him back later?

Will Mark Greene Become EJ Dimera’s New Mad Scientist?

Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) could very well be on EJ’s list of people to take over for Dr. Rolf. After all, Mark has been working with Rolf for months.

EJ could actually blackmail Mark considering that his work has not been anything the parole board would approve of. Has Mark learned enough to keep up dr. Rolf’s experiments and try to improve on is miracle drug?

Mark really seems to have enjoyed working with Dr. Rolf so he may want to take over now that Rolf has skipped town. Of course, Mark could want to perfect this drug to help his ailing mother as well.

Could Mark come up with a drug that actually work and would be good for patients that have dementia?  Will Mark manage to buy them more time with their mother?
