There is reason to believe that EJ and Ava could get closer, but will it be friendship or true love?

DOOL spoilers reveal that Ava thought she would finally get her happily ever after. Ava was scared to tell Jake her real feelings. In Ava’s life, it has always led to her getting hurt. Just when she accepted Jake’s marriage proposal, he was shot by an out-of-control robber. Unfortunately, Jake died.

Ava did get to say goodbye, though. When Ava went in to see Jake’s body, he appeared in front of her. Ava got to lash out at Jake for leaving her. Jake assured Ava that he loved her and while their time together was short, she would be able to hold that memory forever. They hugged and Jake disappeared.

DOOL Spoilers – Ava Vitali’s Grief

Even though Ava got to say goodbye, she will still mourn the man she was going to marry. Due to Ava being able to say goodbye, we might not see her act out irrationally or fly into a rage. Instead, we could see Ava deal with her grief in a different way. Ava is going to have to find a way to move on.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – EJ DiMera’s Rage

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Ava isn’t the only one dealing with loss. EJ is also coping with multiple losses but in the same way. EJ is resentful that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) allowed him to go to prison for a crime he didn’t commit.

Then, he lost all of his DiMera shares when Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) was possessed by the devil. Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) was also gone. EJ had a fling with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) before moving on to Belle Brady (Martha Madison).

DOOL Spoilers – Friendship or Romance?

However, those two romances ended suddenly. So, there must be someone in EJ’s romantic future. Perhaps a character that can better accept and understand his methods. There is reason to believe that EJ and Ava will end up connecting.

It might start off in a devious way, especially if Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) can get Ava to join forces with her. As with Gabi and Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) beginning, the scheme could turn into love. While a platonic friendship is possible, it seems EJ and Ava actually might make the perfect couple.
