What is interesting is that Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) mentioned what EJ was like at Johnny’s age. He even brought up ancient history, which was EJ being a race car driver. Nothing is going to convince EJ to let Johnny follow his own path, though.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of August 30 reveal that EJ won’t just interfere with his son trying to get investors for his new movie. When Johnny doesn’t take his father’s hint and leaves with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) anyway, it gives EJ an idea. He is going to try and get his way by manipulating Johnny’s personal life. Unfortunately, it means that Chanel is going to be an unknowing pawn in EJ’s scheme.

It is confirmed that EJ will try to find out everything he can about Chanel. He pretends to be a friend to Johnny in order to get him to talk. While EJ might find out a few details, Johnny and Chanel are just getting to know each other. So, Johnny actually doesn’t know that much about the bakery owner.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers -Turning To Nicole Walker

It is teased that on Friday, September 3, EJ turns to Nicole. First, he plays the nice guy who appreciates Nicole exposing Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) affair. Nicole used to be involved with EJ, so she knows that he wants something from her. EJ might tell her that Johnny and Chanel shouldn’t be together, but it’s unclear if he’s truthful about the reason.

It seems that doesn’t convince Nicole to use Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) to break up Johnny and Chanel. So, EJ will make Nicole a tempting offer. It is hinted that EJ and Nicole might actually strike a deal, but it won’t be about money. Nicole will be more interested in protecting Allie. Would EJ lie through his teeth to get Nicole to agree to his plan? Of course, but Nicole may regret it. Not only would Allie be furious at being manipulated, but Johnny, Chanel, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and others might also be impacted by this storyline.
