DOOL spoilers reveal that writers created EJ DiMera in 1997 but at that time, the character was just a baby. As with many child actors, multiples were cast to play the part. In this particular case, it wasn’t twins that were used, but triplets. The baby had an incredible growth spurt and suddenly went from infancy to being a fully grown man. As fans know, this is common in soaps and is referred to as SORAS (soap opera rapid aging syndrome).

We met EJ as an adult in 2006 and to date, Scott is the only actor to play the character. In 2014, EJ died from a gunshot wound. Then, Sami went on a crazy journey around the world to find her dead husband. She dragged her young children on this journey and in 2018, EJ was said to be alive. However, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) resurrection injection didn’t work very well. The side effects led him to be a patient at a Greek medical facility, where he remains to this day. However, that is about to change, Penghils confirmed on the podcast, “Mission: Imnpodible.”

DOOL Spoilers – Sami Brady’s Story

Right now, Sami is back in Salem with an emotional story. This time, she is sticking around for quite a while. The actress will appear on-screen for most of 2021. While her story is centered around Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Charlie Dale (Mike Manning), that doesn’t mean there won’t be other storylines. Since we now know EJ has been recast, it’s likely we will see an “EJami” story in the near future.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers –  Penghlis Returns As Tony DiMera

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Penghlis mentioned on the podcast that he has returned to filming. So, Tony DiMera must temporarily exit or perhaps he just didn’t have scenes for a while. What we know is that Penghlis stated he was returning to the set and the new EJ would be there. It was confirmed by Jason47’s official Facebook page that Penghlis was referring to the date of March 8, which is when the actor went back to work.

So, what did Penghlis say about the EJ DiMera recast? Well, he couldn’t really give away any details. We also have no idea who was chosen to replace James Scott. Penghlis did say that it was going to be interesting. He predicted that EJ and Tony would share scenes.

“Well, I go back to Days on the eighth. That’s going to be interesting because I know they’re bringing a recast of EJ, so I have a feeling that I’m going to be doing work with the brother of old.”

We have to assume that EJ will be reacquainted with other family members, as well as meet another new brother. We wonder how EJ will react to meeting Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash). Let’s hope they get along better than Jake and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn)!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Love Triangle: ‘EJami’ And Lucas Horton?

We also expect that there might be some heat between EJ and Sami, and we aren’t referring to passion. As Sami tries to protect Allie, she is getting close to Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) again. Could they end up rekindling their old romance? If so, that is probably when EJ will show back up, leading to conflict and a possible love triangle. We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to see what the writers have planned.
