EJ’s recovery from the fire was devastatingly slow and extremely painful. The pain took its toll and EJ began to lash out at his wife who was right there supporting him through every step of his recovery. During an extended trip to Salem, Sami and Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) had sex. Once EJ found out, he ended his marriage to Sami. He’s been with both Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) since his return to Salem but that relationship would never be anything long-term because both women are still madly in love with other people.

DOOL Spoilers – Sloan Peterson Isn’t Like Anyone Else In Salem!

Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty) is probably the only person in Salem who could possibly challenge EJ in the way that Sami did. Sloan first showed up in Salem as one of Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) sexual partners. Sloan wanted nothing emotional from Alex, their relationship was strictly casual and that was perfectly fine with both of them. Sloan then agreed to be Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) attorney when he was accused of being Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murderer. Two things became very apparent about Sloan: she very much wants money and power. And also, she is willing to compromise her morals as long as she wins the case.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Underneath It All, Sloan Peterson Is Dealing With A Terrible Loss!

The defining moment of Sloan’s life was the death of her mother. Sloan was in law school when she was told her mother took her own life. Sloan was devastated but she didn’t have anyone to blame so she definitely became someone difficult. But when her father was on his deathbed, he told Sloan that he had an affair with Chanel DuPris (Raven Bowens) and when her mother found out, she lured Chanel to a rooftop. While it ruled an accident, Sloan’s mother tumbled off the room and died as a result. Chanel and her mother Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) covered up Chanel’s involvement. Sloan is angry that Chanel was never investigated because of Paulina.

DOOL Spoilers – Sloan Peterson Has Reason For Her Anger!

Sloan approached Paulina and lied that she had a client that knew what Chanel had done and planned to reveal it all unless Paulina paid her client. But that was a lie, Sloan was her own client and she planned to make both Paulina and Chanel suffer. Whether or not Chanel murdered Sloan’s mother or if it was an accident, Paulina’s cover-up makes them both look worse. So, all of this will certainly spark some interest on EJ’s part. Sloan has a lot of the same qualities that Sami has and he will actually be attracted to her questionable morals and her desire to get exactly what she wants no matter who gets hurt. EJ and Sloan could actually become Salem’s next power couple.
