Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that evil EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) seems to be channeling his late father, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo).

Chances are, he’s the one who put the pills in Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) bag, and had a thug grab Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) to eliminate her!

EJ is trying to stop suspicion about the bad batch of pills buried on Smith Island, He’s trying to make sure the poisonings of Holly, Destiny Rowland (Sarah Bartholomew) and her sister Clia (uncast) won’t be traced back to DiMera.

DiMera Pharmaceuticals had this batch of tainted Coraseal pills laced with arsenic and there was a coverup.

The only problem is, they weren’t covered up as well as they should have been, and a bunch buried on the island contaminated some wells.

Julie Horton (Susan Seaforth Hayes) had the Horton Cabin well decontaminated, but Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) keep investigating!

EJ Tried To Fire Sarah But Then Found Out Kayla And The Board Fired Him!

EJ tried to fire Sarah to keep her obsessive digging at bay, but then Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) stepped in-and EJ found out he was fired by the board.

Not only that, the hospital had been sold to Gwen-and soon, she was bragging to EJ about it. To say EJ was not happy is the understatement of the century, and he told her not to get too excited about it!

EJ at that point had an absolutely murderous look in his eyes, and his day went to hell in a handbasket.

Things had gone from bad to worse, with Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) starting to die again and Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) on the run!

EJ doesn’t give up that easily, and he’s not giving up his control. He knows since he was able to get ahead of the problem of the water contamination on Smith Island, he has plan B to explain Holly’s problems.

He has two tainted pills which he plants-or has someone plant-in Holly’s bag for Tate Black (Leo Howard) to find, which he does.

And as for Gwen, by the end of the episode of July 17, she was kidnapped by a thug in black. It has to be EJ who set these things up, it’s the only thing that makes sense!
