Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Eli Dumps Lani – Rafe And David Are Her Priority

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will soon have some difficult news for Lani Price (Sal Stowers). Lani and Eli have been experiencing difficulties in their relationship lately, and it’s all due to Lani’s recent decisions with regard to Jordan Ridgeway’s (Chrishell Hartley) baby, David.

As DOOL viewers know, Jordan is currently in a mental health facility and can’t care for David. As a result, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) has taken custody of the infant, and Lani has also taken a big interest in him as well. She’s been spending a lot of time with David, and that’s had Eli concerned about her.

As DOOL viewers know, Lani and Eli lost a baby last year, whose first name was also David. Eli has been worried that Lani may be getting too attached to Jordan’s baby David, and that perhaps she’s transferred some of her feelings for their baby onto Jordan’s baby. But Lani hasn’t wanted to hear his concerns, and it has caused problems between the two.

Eli also got concerned when Lani decided to take a leave of absence from her position at the Salem PD to care for David. She’s even moved into Rafe’s house to be closer to the baby. Of course, Eli knows that at some point, Jordan will recover from her mental health issues and will come back for her baby. Lani might be unprepared to let David go, and that could cause all sorts of problems for her.

But mostly, Eli misses Lani. She has chosen to spend all of her time caring for David, and that’s left no time in her life for Eli at all. Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Eli will finally reach his wit’s end with the situation. He’ll tire of competing with David for Lani’s attention, and ultimately he’ll tell Lani that he’s ending their relationship.

Of course, Lani will probably be shocked by the news at first, but when she really gives the situation some thought, she might determine that a breakup is for the best. After all, Lani is the one who has chosen to separate herself from Eli in favor of spending time with David.

But will this mean the end of “Elani” for good? Once Jordan comes back for her baby, Lani will likely find herself with no baby and no relationship to fall back on. She’ll have pushed Eli away, and it may be difficult to get him back, especially if he’s moved on psychologically. It might take him a while to get over being pushed away by Lani, so he might not be willing to welcome her back with open arms.

But there’s another wrinkle to this story, and that’s Lani’s relationship with Rafe. Lani and Rafe have been spending a lot of time together as they’ve been caring for David, and they’ve gotten closer. Plus, Rafe will be on the rebound soon, since his marriage to Hope Hernandez (Kristian Alfonso) is ending.

One has to wonder whether a Lani/Eli reunion will ever happen, given what’s currently going on between Lani and Rafe. DOOL viewers will have to wait and see whether a romance starts to blossom between Lani and Rafe, but it certainly looks likely, given how much time they’ve been spending together lately.
