Days of Our Lives (DOOL) hint that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will return to Salem this week, and it sounds as if he’s sticking around in the little town, longer than expected. In fact, added teasers imply that he’ll help join the search to find Abe Carver (James Reynolds).

Will Eli be the person who can finally save the mayor from the grips of Whitley King (Kim Coles)? Could he end up bring Abe back to his family?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – They Need A Hero …

Not that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) aren’t doing a stellar job at the police station, but they could use some help with this case. Especially since the crime in the little town has been completely over-the-top, recently. Plus, they’ve somewhat lost a member of the team with Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) spiraling over the fact that he shot his father Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and now he’s in a coma.

Salem’s finest and Abe are in desperate need of a hero to save the day, and if anyone can fit this description, it’s Eli. Mr. Grant doesn’t only love Abe, but he’s part of his family. He may be the key to ending this storyline.

Days Spoilers – A Little Of Eli Grant, A Little Of Abe Carver …

At the end of the day, with Eli jumping into the picture, there’s a good chance that he’ll be the one to “save” his step-father-in-law. But at the same time, Carver may also be his own hero. Whitley has gotten away with a lot because of Abe’s amnesia. If he begins to remember, he’ll come to realize that the nurse is not his wife Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), and likely try to make an escape on his own. Eli could swoop in during a “right place at the right time” moment, not only saving Abe but exposing Whitley, too.
