Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Eli Proposes to Gabi – Payback To Lani For Breaking His Heart?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) proposes to Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) around the New Year. However, it isn’t because of his undying love for the wicked widow. It stems from Lani Price (Sal Stowers) returning to Salem and bringing up his unresolved feelings. It’s basically done as a way to virtually slap the woman who broke his heart one year earlier.

DOOL spoilers confirm Lani’s return to Salem, but she won’t be alone. She brings with her Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). Both are on a mission to get back what they feel has been stolen from them. While Kristen will go after Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), Lani wants to reclaim her own man.

DOOL Spoilers: Bottled-Up Feelings

When Eli encountered Lani in Rome, a lot of bottled-up feelings came bubbling to the surface. That will continue once he realizes that Lani has returned to Salem. Unable and unwilling to deal with his feelings of heartbreak and rejection, he will do something spontaneous as a way to stick it to his former bride.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that around the time Salem rings in the New Year, expect Eli to suddenly propose marriage. But it won’t be to Lani this time. Instead, he hurts her by asking Gabi for a lifetime partnership.

Of course, fans know that he might be in her bed, but isn’t dedicated to spending a lifetime with the wicked widow. But does Eli realize this too or has the Latina fashionista really blinded him that much?
