Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers indicate if you are a fan of Emily O’Brien, you’ll be over the moon when you hear the good news. The actress is slated to reprise both her Theresa Donovan and Gwen Rizczech roles in Salem, come 2025.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Emily O’Brien Is Returning In Full Force

DOOL spoilers reveal that it was announced during the “Day of Days” yearly fan event, which took place this past Saturday, November 2, that O’Brien would be returning to the show.

She was introduced onto the stage, donning her Theresa Donovan wig, and she’s also shown as Theresa during the Days’ winter preview video.

O’Brien uploaded a video of her entrance on the Day of Days stage, (with Paul Telfer (Xander Kiriakis) helping brush her hair out after she took the wig off) and added this caption:

“The cat (and wig) is out of the bag! Thanks for the warm welcome back to Salem! Now buckle your seatbelts. Oh, and thanks @paultelfer [Xander] for the hairbrush ;)”

DOOL Spoilers – Gwen Rizczech Returns

It may have been hard to hear during the video; however, the announcer made it clear that O’Brien will be bringing Gwen Rizczech back to the land of Salem, in addition to Theresa Donovan.

Soap Opera Digest (SOD) also confirmed this, so it’ll be interesting to see what brings both Gwen and Theresa back to town.

Days fans may recall that Emily joined the cast in 2020, playing Gwen, the illegitimate daughter of Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), who had a huge resentment toward her half-sister, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller). O’Brien switched focus in October 2023 when she was recast in the role of Theresa Donovan, taking over for Jen Lilley.

Fans last saw O’Brien in August 2024 when Ms. Donovan was sent off to Stateville for her involvement in forging Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) will.
