Right now, she is in the middle of a big mystery with Ben and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) wondering if Ciara is dead or alive. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) threatened the reformed serial killer in the interrogation room and all we know is that she is being held by Vincent (Michael Teh) somewhere.

Next week, Ciara finds herself in a “deadly predicament.” However, it is clear that she somehow survives. Wilson previously told Soap Opera Digest that he was hoping that Konefal would come back and that they wouldn’t recast the part. In the new issue of SOD, Corday just gave confirmation that we haven’t seen the last of Konefal.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the executive producer assured the magazine that Konefal is coming back as Ciara. Not only did he say this, but apparently we should expect her to come and go constantly. Corday told the publication, “Victoria Konefal has left … and will return … and will leave, so she’ll be coming and going,”

DOOL Spoilers – All the Possibilities

When the news of Konefal’s exit was first released, the actress said that she would no longer be a full-time cast member. So, it seems that she didn’t really change her mind about pursuing other opportunities. Instead, it sounds like she went from a core character to a recurring one. Basically, she took her full-time job and downgraded it to a part-time one.

Now, Wilson told SOD that when Konefal first confided in him that she was thinking about leaving, the reason was so she could pursue other acting opportunities. With her on a recurring status, that would give her the best of both worlds — still getting a paycheck while having the flexibility to audition for other projects.
