Eric and Nicole have loved each other for decades and once again they are torn apart by the interference of an outsider. Is this the last straw for this one-time super couple?

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) was a necessary stumbling block for Eric and Nicole. After all, Eric did abandon Nicole for his mission in Africa which lead to her cheating with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). Of course, it was obvious to everyone except Eric and Nicole that their reunion was destined to be.

And then there was Jada. Eric and Jada jumped into bed pretty quickly considering they had just met. However, although Eric cared about Jada, Eric was clearly trying to forget Nicole which has never been an option. After Alex insisted that Eric and Nicole do that photoshoot for Bella magazine, their feelings couldn’t be denied.

To have Nicole talk Jada into having an abortion was going way too far. Never would Eric ask Nicole to give up her daughter for them to be together. Eric has been nothing but supportive of Nicole and her daughter. Why could Nicole not do the same for Eric? How could adding another child into the mix cause Nicole that much anxiety?

Nicole’s comparison of her life to Jada’s was very inaccurate. Nicole is raising her daughter alone because her father is dead. However, Jada’s baby’s daddy is right here, alive and well. Nicole could have even been a part of this baby’s life as well. Why does Nicole feel so threatened by an unborn child? How can fans support this reunion now that an innocent child has paid the price?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Is This Really The End?

Perhaps this reunion was just a tease like so many that haven’t worked out before. Let’s be honest, as the song goes, “sometimes Love just ain’t enough.” Fans know that love hasn’t been enough for Eric and Nicole after all these years so why would it be now? Were writers simply sitting up to the end of the relationship after all these years?

Can Eric ever forgive Nicole for offering the advice that cost him his child? Is there any coming back from what Eric cannot help but to see it as a betrayal of the worst kind? Will Eric and Nicole ever be able to work this out again?
