DOOL tapes six months ahead, and Greg tested positive for covid and couldn’t work for a short arc. While protocols aren’t as stringent as they once were, he still had to get a clean bill of health before returning to the screen as Eric. Jason was available and stepped into the role for a short time as Greg had a mild case, but one can’t be too careful.

Viewers might also recognize Gerhardt from shows such as “Mistresses”, “Bones”,”Vegas”, “Chicago Med”, “NCIS” and other primetime series. He’s been in a lot of shows so if you’re not a General Hospital watcher you might find him familiar from the other shows.

Jason Gerhardt will appear in August as Eric for a short time, although the exact dates have not been released. There is a lot ahead in the next few weeks which Eric will be involved in, Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) keeping secrets for one. After having nightmares about Eric finding out that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) was having his baby, Sloan still altered her DNA test with EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel).

Sloan will have to worry about her new “girlfriend” Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) and if she’ll blab after confiding in her she altered the test! She had enough trouble explaining to Eric how she wound up getting Nicole’s test instead of her own, but she convinced him the nurse handed her the wrong one.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Nicole Walker Will Receive Conflicting Proposals

Nicole will receive some conflicting proposals, although they may not be the marriage proposal kind. This will be after Eric gives Sloan an unimpressive marriage proposal Nicole gets some shocking news. There is a chance Melinda will tell Sloan’s secret and after his unimpressive proposal to Sloan, perhaps Nicole will get proposals from both EJ and Eric if the truth indeed has come out!

This who’s the daddy storyline should play out for a few more months, since neither Sloan nor Nicole are even showing a baby belly yet. So when the whole truth does come out, which it’s sure to, it will be Greg Vaughan’s version of Eric Brady who’ll have to deal with it.
