Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Eric & Nicole Exit, But Together Or Apart? ERICOLE’s Bittersweet Ending

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that fans have been made aware of Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) exit. That is coming this week, but there wasn’t any news on what would happen with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).

Now that Nicole’s final air date is upon us and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is launching threats, it’s pretty clear that ERICOLE both leave Salem, but not together. Keep reading to find out what could happen next with this storyline.

Nicole Walker’s Announcement

DOOL spoilers reveal that fans were heartbroken when they learned Ari had left the soap. Soon after, those broken hearts turned to outrage when the lawsuit came to light.

Moving to the characters and storyline, Nicole’s exit is upon us. Nicole will make an announcement this week – the week of July 22, 2024. This announcement rocks Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) teen scene, so it must be a big move.

DOOL Spoilers: Eric Brady’s Paris Opportunity

Eric planned to leave Salem because it was too painful to be near Jude Brady (Oliver McLarty). Eric found a job in Paris and was at the airport when he learned the truth about Jude.

During a chat with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), Eric mentioned he didn’t cancel the move to Paris, he just postponed his start date at the new job. 

If Nicole leaves Salem, there is a good chance that Eric won’t stick around either. 

EJ DiMera’s Threat

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that EJ returned Nicole’s divorce papers unsigned. EJ actually interrupted Nicole and Eric talking about their potential future with Jude.

However, EJ told Eric and Nicole that he wasn’t going to allow them to have their happily ever after. Even though Eric has been publicly declared as the father, has the birth certificate been changed?

If not, EJ could use some legal schemes to take custody from Nicole if she doesn’t stay away from Eric. EJ has already lost Nicole, but he is determined to still control her life.

It doesn’t seem that EJ will allow Eric and Nicole to be together, even across international waters. EJ already threatened to tell Holly that Eric is the one who killed Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian). 

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Greg Vaughan’s Exit

Holly is staying behind, but Nicole will be leaving Salem on July 29, 2024. It is assumed that Jude will go with Nicole.

Now, there is no way Nicole would separate Eric and Jude unless she absolutely had to. With EJ brainstorming an elaborately cruel revenge scheme, expect ERICOLE to be torn apart once again. Just like always.

It is teased that Eric leaves Salem the same day as Nicole. However, Ari hinted that fans won’t get the ERICOLE ending they are hoping for.

So, that hint along with EJ’s threat makes me think that Eric might go to Paris while Nicole and Jude move somewhere else. This certainly won’t make ERICOLE shippers happy at all.
