It’s not clear how long Evan will be on-screen. It’s hard to imagine Shawn winning custody of the baby and Belle helping him raise the child. After all, every single time Belle looks at the baby, she’s reminded of Jan.

Plus, how will Belle feel if Shawn asks for her help? This just might be another complication that delays them getting back together.
