Whitley tells Abe that his son is in town, and she brings Jerry Prentiss home and says he’s Theo Carver. However, it looks like Abe is getting some memories back and he accuses Jerry of being an imposter; in the meantime, the real Theo is helping look for his dad.

Theo made Abe’s Juneteenth speech but with Whitley keeping Abe cut off from any current news in any form, he has no way of knowing.

Still, Abe’s old detective instincts are in full force, even though he doesn’t remember being a detective for the Salem PD years ago. Even though he accepted “Fake Paulina’s” story about their wedding when she photoshopped her face on Paulina Price’s (Jackeé Harry) something still doesn’t feel right.

DOOL Spoilers – A Few Simple Questions, If He Only Knew The Answers

A few simple questions from Abe, if he only knew the answers, would clear everything up and expose the frauds. Fake Theo might try to convince Abe of some “facts” Fake Paulina has coached him on, but Abe won’t feel convinced. Those old detective instincts are ingrained in Abe, he was too many years on the Salem police force, followed by years as Police Commissioner.

Buried in his brain with his detective instincts are his memories-which flashes of are coming back, even though Fake Paulina tells him he’s confused-he’s not. For one thing, Fake Theo doesn’t know anything about South Africa and Abe was told that’s where Theo lives.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Memories Of Lexie Carver Come?

Abe saw his speech when he became mayor of Salem the first time, it was a breaking news piece on “Body And Soul” which Whitley probably forgot was there.

He may rewatch that and spot Theo’s mother, Lexie Carver (Renee Jones) with Fake Theo and he doesn’t remember his mother. Theo was just a little boy when Lexie died of brain tumors but he was old enough to remember her.

That would be a telltale sign especially if Abe remembers when Lexie became First Lady Of Salem when he became the mayor the first time. A little Theo may have also been present and visible in the broadcast-Abe will expose Jerry as a fake and it stands to reason so is Fake Paulina!
