DOOL spoilers reveal that Corday spoke to Soaps.com about being renewed for two additional seasons. In the recent past, the soap has only been renewed one year at a time. We haven’t seen a two-season renewal in several years. Apparently, Corday begged NBC for a two-season renewal so storylines could be planned well in advance without them wondering if they would ever get a chance to play on screen.

DOOL Spoilers – Nuclear Bomb Storyline

Right now, we are in the middle of May Sweeps, which is one of the biggest times for soaps. Another time during the year when the biggest stories play out in November Sweeps. There are huge plans for fall 2021, including a “nuclear bomb” storyline. Now, Corday wasn’t talking about a literal nuclear bomb but was referring to a shocking and explosive plot that is coming up.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Corday stated that what is coming up this fall will “knock viewers on their butts.”

“We’re building the next nuclear bomb as we speak. Watch out, come the end of the Olympics, the beginning of the fall season: We’re about to knock viewers on their butts. Trust me, this will be great!”

He added, “Remember the old ‘It’s Getting Good Again’ ads, as if it wasn’t good to begin with? Well, trust me, when you see what [head writer] Ron Carlivati has in store? Like I said, we are going to blow the audience away.”

DOOL Spoilers – What About ‘CIN’?

One of the biggest disappointments this year has been “CIN.” There was a lot of time and energy spent getting fans on board with Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) falling in love with a reformed serial killer. Next week, Ciara will send Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) divorce papers. We already know that the couple is the endgame, but with Konefal not on contract, how will that play out?

“… things will work out. I’m an eternal optimist. Even if Victoria books other jobs, she comes and goes, it’ll work out… it might be time for Ben and Ciara to have a little happiness! Not to say that that’s the end of their story, because when people are just looking at one another lovingly over a cup of coffee, there’s not much drama there.”
