Days of Our Lives head writer Ron Carlivati has told us about the deleted scene of Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) saying goodbye to his sister Adrienne Kiriakis (Judy Evans) and was even gracious enough to post the actual scene from the script. However, this is no good enough for some fans.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Jack’s Goodbye To Adrienne Would Have Been Moving
Days of Our Lives fans would have loved to see Jack saying goodbye to his sister. Some fans believe it would be a much-needed break from Steve Johnson/Stefano Dimera (Stephen Nichols). A great deal of Days fans are very upset over this Stefano story. Not only do fans believe it is disrespectful to Stefano portrayer Joe Mascolo but also to the over thirty-year history of Steve and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans).
Fans waited for Jack’s return for months and would love to see the Jack that we have grown to love. Jack and Adrienne weren’t raised together but forged a lasting relationship years ago and Adrienne was one of his biggest supporters. Some fans feel cheated out of Jack’s goodbye to his little sister. This scene would have been so moving for those of us who miss our moving stories.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: The Time Jump Is Confusing
Days of Our Lives executives were ok with this time jump, a first in daytime tv history, however, it has left fans confused. Fans have tried since November to fill in the blanks of these stories and are more confused than ever. The time jump was bad enough but deleting scenes that explain what happened only makes for more confusion. We can jump to the conclusion that Adrienne had a massive blood clot that killed her since she had a bump on the head.
We can jump to the conclusion that Sarah’s baby had internal injuries from the accident, especially the seat belt being so tight before she got out of the car. However, an autopsy would have been done on that baby to see what the actual injuries were. Fans figured out that Victor paid off the doctor long before it was revealed on the show. None of our intuition helps when it comes to emotional scenes because we cannot imagine the feelings that would have played out if they have been shown.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: The Flashbacks Aren’t Always Enough
These Days of Our Lives flashbacks are not always enough to invest us in the storyline. Soap viewers love to feel emotionally connected to our characters. We need the emotional scenes much more than we need Stefano’s rantings coming out of Steve’s mouth. These flashbacks need to show the emotion and not seem like we are getting titbits of scenes that make no sense if they aren’t a whole part of the story.
Some fans are very upset with the currents stories and want more. We need things to make some semblance of sense that we feel is missing. Fans want to invest in the show, however, we need something to hold onto to keep us emotionally tied to the scenes.
