DOOL spoilers for Friday, December 13 reveal that Jada is desperate for more help at the police department. While Jada decided to accept the commissioner position full-time, it led Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to quit.

Even though Jada loves being the first black female commissioner in Salem, she also needs more police officers and detectives. 

With Shawn back in town, Jada offers him his old position back at the Salem Police Department. It seems that Shawn accepts as they are shaking hands in a preview clip.
