However, I have a feeling that Johnny and Chanel might not be going anywhere. Perhaps Johnny and Chanel tell everyone about their big move, then there is a complication or problem. 

Maybe Chanel will have some disturbing pregnancy symptoms that make a big move too risky. It’s also possible that the big director changed his mind about Johnny.

After all, Johnny waited until the day of the deadline before telling Chanel. Perhaps the director needed to get someone else lined up as Johnny was taking too long.
