Days of Our Lives Spoilers Friday, June 5: Jake Drops Gabi Kidnapping Bomb on Ben & Ciara – Gwen & Claire Girl Talk – Steve Dreams of Kayla

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, June 5, tease that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will consider coming clean to Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), who just showed up at the pub. DOOL viewers know Steve’s been drinking and sulking for a while now, so he’s drunk and longing for the love of his life.

Although Steve will want to let Kayla know how he really feels, it’s a horrible idea to do that while inebriated. Steve will probably have sense enough to keep his feelings to himself for now. Even so, Steve’s drunken state should spark some questions for Kayla. She may end up annoyed with Steve for throwing back shots instead of just being honest with her.

Afterward, Steve will fall asleep on Hope Brady’s (Kristian Alfonso) couch. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Steve will dream he’s with Kayla again. They’ll share a passionate kiss before Steve wakes up startled and Hope wonders what’s going on.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Marlena Contemplates Claire’s Release

Over with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), she’ll continue to mull over Claire Brady’s (Olivia Rose Keegan) possible release. It’s obvious that Claire really wants her freedom, but Marlena still won’t be certain it’s for the right reasons. The grandma in Marlena wants to believe Claire, but she also has to rely on her training and approach this as a mental health professional.

Marlena will give John Black (Drake Hogestyn) updates on her recent visit to Bayview, so John will hear all about Claire’s total recovery claims. When John learns Claire wants to be released ASAP, he’ll ask if she’s truly ready. Marlena may still be on the fence, but she’ll end up greenlighting Claire’s release soon enough.

Days of Our Lives Comings & Goings: Shawn And Belle’s Big Return

Of course, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Brady (Martha Madison) also need to be brought in the loop. As Claire’s parents, Belle and Shawn deserve to be involved every step of the way. Days spoilers say Shawn and Belle will indeed return to Salem on Monday, so DOOL fans will want to stay tuned.

At Bayview, Claire will enjoy some girl talk with her pal, Gwen (Emily O’Brien). It turns out Jake Lambert’s (Brandon Barash) ex-girlfriend is a patient there, and Gwen’s formed a fast friendship with Claire. In Friday’s episode, Claire will tell Gwen that she’s hopefully getting out soon. Gwen will look at the save-the-date card for the “Cin” wedding and wonder if this is why Claire’s so eager to be free.

Claire will confess that she’d like to attend Ciara and Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) nuptials if possible. However, Claire will be adamant that her real goal is making amends. She’ll want to make things right with Ciara and be close like they were before.

Jake has no idea that Gwen’s at Bayview, but he really needs to find her immediately. The clock’s ticking and Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) could be killed if Jake can’t retrieve the item he stole from “the family.” Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake will believe Gabi’s a dead woman if Gwen isn’t found. He’ll explain the terrible situation to Ben and Ciara, who’ll want to help in any way they can.
