Back in Salem, Gabi found out that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) lied to her about the reason he needed to use the DiMera jet. He wasn’t going to Paris at all, but was headed to Rome. It is connected to the DiMera stock that Kristen plans on donating to the church. Gabi orders Eli to get on that jet and get to Kristen before Chad has a chance.

At some point, Lani learns that Eli got back together with his ex-girlfriend, Gabi. She is the same woman who tampered with Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) pacemaker. If Lani didn’t break up with Eli and do it publicly, then she would kill Julie.
