She wants Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus). It is teased that Gabi won’t put up with it very long. We have an idea of what Gabi is going to do to prove Kate’s faking and it just might work.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Kate is determined to make Jake and Gabi suffer. In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, it is explained that Kate woke up from her coma after nearly dying. She survived Kristen’s attack and was able to wake up despite being given enough tranquilizers to knock out a horse. She also jumped out of a moving car and trekked through the woods to get back to Salem. Then, she made it home only to find Jake wasn’t looking for her. Instead, he was entangled in passion with Gabi.

“She goes through hell with Kristen and the entire time, she believed in Jake because he professed his love, and she was very loyal, so then to wake up in the hospital room and hear the two of them discussing their future together… The way she sees it, ‘No, you don’t get your happy ending so quickly. You need a little suffering, so you’re going to suffer, too.’”

DOOL Spoilers – Gabi Hernandez’s Suspicion

In the summer preview, head writer Ron Carlivati suggested that Gabi might not put up with Kate’s scheme for very long.

“… She essentially wants to torture Gabi and Jake. She doesn’t necessarily want Jake back. She just wants to punish and torment Gabi because they got together behind her back. It will be fun to see how long Gabi will put up with this situation.”

So, it sounds like Gabi is the first person to suspect the truth. She either sees something or maybe Kate blatantly tells her what’s really going on. She might think that nobody will believe Gabi’s story. After all, Dr. Snyder (Michael Lowry) is backing up Kate’s lie in order to keep his job.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Jake DiMera Blinded By Scheme

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Jake likes to see the good in people. He doesn’t hate Kate and there was no cheating or anything else that led to their breakup. So, there are no hard feelings toward Kate on his part. He knows the good part of Kate, the one that he has been involved with for the past few months.

However, there is another side to Kate. She is a master manipulator and has pulled off some pretty extreme schemes in the past. Of course, Jake wasn’t in Salem then so he has a hard time believing that Kate would be capable of wanting to destroy him. Kate knows how to get results in both her professional and personal life.

DOOL Spoilers – Forcing An Explosive Response

Gabi and Kate are both master manipulators who go to extreme measures to accomplish their goals. It is what bonded them as friends and turned Kate into Gabi’s mother figure. When Gabi Chic was just an idea, she considered Kate her mentor. The women being so similar bonded them, but also tore them apart. These days, Gabi and Kate are fierce competitors in both business and romance.

Gabi knows that the only way Jake will see the truth is if he witnesses Kate’s miraculous recovery with his own eyes. Kate has her weaknesses, which Gabi exploits to trigger an explosive reaction. In the summer promo, we see Gabi squeezing Jake’s rear end. It looks like she is doing it while enjoying someone else watching. We have to assume that this is Gabi’s way of angering Kate so much that she explodes… which would prove that she isn’t blind after all.
