Almost every Salem resident who has been arrested during Melinda Trask’s (Tina Huang) tenure as District Attorney most likely was able to negotiate a plea deal, and usually end up serving little to no jail time. As viewers know, Gabi Hernandez (Camilla Banus) was caught red-handed trying to kill Julie Williams (Susan Seathford Hayes). But Gabi never even went to trial!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Gabi Hernandez Was Able To Save A Life By Being A Medical Doner.

When Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) needed a doner to save her daughter’s life, Gabi was the only match. Crafty as ever, Gabi would only agree to be a doner if Trask would drop all the charges against her. Gabi was a free woman. Trask’s newest deal has angered several people and will likely be brought up to Mayor Abe Carver (James Reynolds) in the form of a formal complaint.

DOOL Spoilers – Gabi Hernandez Risked Her Life To Find Evidence Against Ava Vitale.

Ava Vitale (Tamara Braun) used her former mob connections to frame Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) for manufacturing false evidence in order to get a conviction. Rafe is the Police Commissioner so it was automatically a high-profile case. Eventually, Rafe was found innocent but Gabi wanted to have Ava arrested for trying to hurt her brother. Gabi went out and found enough evidence to have Ava arrested.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Ava Vitale Ratted On Gwen Rizczech!

Since Rafe is the Commissioner and Ava was once a powerful mob boss this should be the most lucrative case of Trask’s career. But for some reason, Trask was all ears when offered up her former accomplice Gwen Rizczech (Emily O-Brien). Although the list of Gwen’s crimes is quite numerous it doesn’t seem as newsworthy as the case against was against Ava.

DOOL Spoilers – Gabi Hernandez Goes Hunting For Someone To Run Against Melinda Trask!

Gabi is furious that after she went to the trouble of finding the evidence against Ava that Trask would rather get a conviction against Gwen. Although Gabi herself once benefited from one of Trask’s deals, she believes that Ava’s crimes are more likely to get Trask the publicity she wants. Gabi’s first step will be a formal complaint to Abe. But Trask’s position is an elected position. Abe may suggest that the best way to get Trask out of office would to be find a better candidate and help them win the vote! That gives Gabi an idea.
