Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (last played by Camila Banus) is cooling her jets in jail and recently had a nasty accident courtesy of fellow inmate Clyde Weston (James Read). Gabi is doing time for killing Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) even though she claims she’s innocent.

Gabi has a broken leg because it is Clyde way of warning Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) that he must do his bidding. Poor Gabi is a convenient target for keeping Stefan in line and obedient.
Stefan is in the same blackmail pot as Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Ava broke up with Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) for his own safety.
In the meantime she is pretending to be involved with her “business partner” Stefan, but spoilers indicate that this could turn into something real.

Can you imagine how Gabi would feel if she finds out about a real or faux romance between her husband and Ava? We wouldn’t put it past Clyde to stick it to Stefan by informing Gabi about what he’s heard.
Whether or not Ava and Stefan cheat, hotheaded Gabi would jump to conclusions and maybe seek to end her marriage. While Camila Banus has left the role of Gabi, show spoilers indicate that the role has been recast.
Due to social media buzz, it appears that Cherie Jimenez is taking over the role, and we will know about that soon enough in the upcoming months.

Bring Steve Burton back. He’s an excellent actor and brings so much to the screen; much more than 1/2 the actors you currently have.
