Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Greg Vaughan OUT, Joins Mass Cast Exits, Eric Brady Leaves SalemNBC Days of Our Lives comings and goings confirm that Eric Brady is leaving Salem later this year. Actor Greg Vaughan confirmed he has already finished filming his final scenes on the Low Country podcast, hosted by GH stars Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson.

Greg Vaughan Says Goodbye

DOOL comings and goings reveal that Vaughan is just the latest big star of the NBC soap opera to say goodbye. He confirmed the news during the podcast, in which he spoke with General Hospital star Burton. Vaughan said,

“I’ve finished my reign at DAYS… for all my DAYS fans that are listening, I love you all. It’s never over, so I’m not going to say it’s over… I’m taking a break if you will. DAYS was going through a renewal negotiation and not knowing where they were going to go, and, um, I just felt my time was coming to an end, anyway.”

DOOL Comings and Goings: Eric Brady’s Departure Filmed

Vaughan has already filmed his final scenes as Eric Brady. Since the soap films six to eight months in advance, we expect him to leave around the same time as everyone else — September 2020. However, the actor wouldn’t share any clues on what his exit storyline could be.

Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Mass Cast Exits Continue

Vaughan’s shocking bombshell comes as fans are still reeling over several other cast members leaving the soap. Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) were written out, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is leaving this fall, and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will simply vanish since the actress didn’t return to film her final scenes.

There are also rumors that Victoria Konefal is leaving the role of Ciara Brady, which is leading to speculation that Robert Scott Wilson might also exit as Ben Weston. Plus, Camila Banus started a firestorm by announcing she was looking for work. She later said that Gabi Hernandez DiMera wasn’t going anywhere, but fans aren’t convinced.

As it gets closer to fall, we expect a lot of exit announcements to be made. So, is the cast reacting to being asked to take severe pay cuts? Is Days cleaning house? Or are they adjusting to financial limitations by eliminating the majority of their cast? If this keeps up, Salem will be a ghost town.

      Looks like we won’t be seeing Days in oh about a year if that long. Everybody that makes that show are either leaving on their own or being let go. What a shame.

      No i am not shocked, as i said, Ron the head writer and his staff of writers are all STUPID and i mean STUPID, I can’t believe Corday Productions is letting this goofball get rid of the core actors and actresses that made this show. How stupid! I can see this soap being flushed down the drain easily. NBC is justas stupid as ABC, Although theykept Genera.Hospital. Still people are not beinglistened to. Freddy Smith, ChandlerMassey, Galen Gearing, and now these others being let go. Ron, why aren’t you listening, we dn’t want to lose these people. Sonny and Will have done wonders for the LGBCl, the others have had great storylines, Rafe is a great actor. =I don’t know why Hallmark or Fox are not starting up daytime dramas. AllMy Chldren,One Life toLive, As The World Turns, Guiding Light,Another World, would be great tohave back on. COME ON GET WITH IT RON AND YOUR SO CALLED WRITERS, THEY ARE ALL LOSERS. SMARTEN UP AND LISTEN TO YOUR VIEWERS.

      I’m not shocked because his love lives in nc. I do feel the need to stand up for the writers. They do not have the final word on who stays and who goes. The producers and the production company execs are mostly to blame.

      I’m really sorry to hear it! Nicole is finally happy & now Eric is going to be gone?! What does that do to her storyline if her better half is gone? Adrienne, Sonny & Will, Steve & Kayla, Rafe & Hope & Ciara (what will happen to Ben? Is he leaving, too?), Eric Brady, & now Jennifer Horton, too!! (And all because Melissa Reeves “liked” a tweet written by a strong empowered Black Woman… Wow, THAT’S tolerant of the Left! And her HORRIBLE cast mate, who happens to be the worst actress on the show, “Sarah”, is such a HATER, who DARED to accuse Missy Reeves of racism of all things, all becuz she “liked” a tweet written by a strong empowered articulate BLACK WOMAN! How is that racist?! But that’s the disgusting LIE Linsey spewed, and now Jennifer Horton is gone, as they FIRED Missy Reeves for “liking” a non-racist tweet written by a black woman…It’s an utter outrage!). So what happens to Jack? My Beloved DOOL is in the toilet. I stopped watching it when they killed off Stefan. I couldn’t take it anymore. He & Gabi are so great together! And now, with their hateful attitude toward Missy Reeves, having no Jennifer Horton around just makes Salem a very sad & lonely place…
