Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Chad DiMera Talked To Kate Roberts About Abigail DiMera’s Plans

The day of Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder, which happened in the evening, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) had sat down with Kate in Horton Park. Chad had stopped Abigail from traveling to Kentucky to talk to one of the henchmen that guarded Sami Brady (Allison Sweeney) when she was kidnapped. Abigail had planned to do an investigative series for the Salem Spectator to expose who really kidnapped Sami, since EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) had been proven innocent.

Chad told Kate of Abigail’s plans and how he told her that he knew Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) had been the one who had kidnapped Sami, in order to make himself her hero when he rescued her! He had told Abigail and that put a stop to her trip to Kentucky, and the reason Chad knew about it is because he helped Lucas frame EJ!

DOOL Spoilers: Kate Roberts Worries That Lucas Horton Really Did Kill His Niece

According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Kate worries that Lucas really did kill his niece, and thinks back to their conversation about his drinking and that cut on his hand the day after Abigail was killed. Then, when Chad came to Sami and Lucas’ wedding and tried to kill Lucas and shouted out accusations of murder, she knew she had to come clean! Kate had told Lucas about Abigail’s investigative series plans and that Chad told her he told Abigail so she wouldn’t pursue the story but Lucas was afraid she’d write it anyway!

The day after the murder he was afraid he killed her because he’d gotten drunk and couldn’t remember what happened; and how he got that large cut on his hand! Kate knows she has to come clean to Roman about what she knows before he finds out from someone else – Chad, for instance!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Kate Roberts Cries – That Doesn’t Happen Often

Kate is normally a very strong woman but she has been keeping secrets from Roman, and they have gotten pretty serious after being together for this long. She has secrets she’s been keeping about both sons, actually – but there’s no need to tell him about Phillip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). He faked his death by disappearing and even taking one of his prosthetic legs and throwing it in a lake to frame Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) for his murder!

Kate has to admit herself she’s really got a pair of schemers for sons, but she has to tell Roman about Lucas. There’s no getting around it after Chad’s invasion of Sami and Lucas’ wedding; and she cries as she comes clean!

DOOL Spoilers: Kate Roberts Is Grateful Roman Brady Is Compassionate

Kate is grateful when Roman is compassionate, although her tears probably help, they are definitely not fake! Roman has seen Sami go through enough murder accusations and other similar trouble that he is more understanding than Kate expected he would be. His law enforcement experience tells him however, that even if Lucas is innocent, it will be very difficult to prove if Chad pursues his current path.

However, Kate knows something else she reveals to Roman – that Chad helped Lucas set EJ up for Sami’s kidnapping; that’s how he knows Lucas was the kidnapper. However, it doesn’t prove Lucas is Abigail’s murderer..Kate thinks to herself maybe Chad didn’t think the consequences out because it makes him an accessory to EJ’s framing.
