Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has been targeting Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) for months now. Gwen has gone as far as to drug Abigail with a substance that gave her hallucinations. Abigail finally overcame the effects of the drugging, but Gwen remains a threat. She has insinuated herself into Abigail’s life and is currently working as Abigail’s nanny. But Abigail isn’t Gwen’s only target, she seems to after the entire Devereaux family. But does she have against them?

DOOL spoilers say that Gwen has a very personal reason for hating the Devereaux’s. And it all seems to lead back to Jack Devereaux (Matthew Ashford). As viewers know, Jack hasn’t always been the most reliable husband/father in the past. Jack has abandoned his family in the past and that might be the key to the reason for Gwen’s hatred. Jack was surely not celibate during his time away, and it is seeming more and more like that a romantic tryst may have led to Gwen’s birth.

If the rumors are true, and Gwen is actually Jack’s daughter, there will have to be a lot of questions answered. Was Jack unfaithful in his vows, or did he meet Gwen’s mother while separated from Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain)? Either way, it’s a sure bet that Jennifer won’t take the information at face value. She’s going to want details. Could revelations from the past end Jack and Jennifer’s marriage. They have fought so hard to be together, including Jennifer’s year-long coma. But things right now seem to be better than ever.

But will Jennifer just be able to accept that there is another Devereaux child out there? Most likely, no matter the circumstances, Jennifer would forgive Jack for something that happened so long ago. But assuming it gets to that point, forgiving Gwen might be a harder pill to swallow. After all, in her own words, Gwen wanted to “melt Abigail’s brain”. Even if at some point Gwen wants to be a part of the family, it may not be possible considering the things she’s done.
