She gets excited over the instant wealth but is floored when Jake wants nothing to do with the family. Could she trade Jake for Chad? Is it possible that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) is right this time?

DOOL spoilers reveal that Jake will find out that he isn’t Stefan like Gabi believed. The reason the DNA comparison showed a 100% match is because Stefan and Jake are identical twins. It is brought to their attention by Vivian Alamain’s (Louise Sorel) manservant, Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera).

Shunning DiMera Family

Despite the fact that the DiMera fortune could solve most of Jake’s problems, he can’t forget his brother’s actions. When Stefan was alive, he did a lot of bad things. However, he changed his ways after falling in love with Gabi, but Jake doesn’t realize that and probably doesn’t care. He is disgusted that Stefan raped Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) when she was in the depths of her dissociative identity disorder.

He decides that the money just isn’t worth being connected to that kind of legacy. He shuns the DiMera family and doesn’t want anything to do with their money. It is a decision that will cause Gwen to go crazy. She flips out over Jake not taking his share of the DiMera pie, per DaysCafe.

DOOL Spoilers – Chad DiMera’s Mind Game

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that there is something going on in Chad’s head. He is not acting quite like himself, especially when he interacted with Gwen. The two chatted and Chad kept filling her up with alcohol. He promised to be a gentleman and as far as we know, the two didn’t do anything inappropriate.

However, Gabi is convinced Chad wants Gwen and she might be right. But it’s more likely that Chad is playing a mind game in order to beat Gabi and prevent Jake from taking his position, power, and place in the DiMera empire.

Gwen Davies’ Romantic ‘Upgrade’

It is suggested that while Chad is just playing a game with Gwen in order to protect his place in the DiMera family, business, and empire, Gwen has other intentions. She seems to feel entitled to the family fortune even though she’s not a DiMera and isn’t married to Jake. When he decides to shun his bloodline, could she try and get a “romantic upgrade” and go after Chad?

We know that Abigail returns “with vengeance on her mind.” Could it be less about Gabi and more about Gwen seducing Chad?
