That is when Chad’s demeanor changes and he gets angry. He has no feelings for Gwen and they both know that there was no love with that one-night stand. Then, he informs Gwen what the baby truly represents.

It sounds like targeting Abigail and her marriage might be about more than just Gwen’s growing up without a father. It seems she either always had a crush on Chad, is starting to develop feelings for him, or is just trying to widen the rift between “Chabby.”

However, when Miller exits for her maternity leave, could Chad start to develop feelings too? Will they bond over the baby, especially when Abigail isn’t around? It is very possible because Chad and Gwen are going to be seeing a lot more of each other. Chad, being the decent guy he is, will likely want to be sure Gwen has everything she needs. Although it’s to ensure a healthy baby, it could develop into something more once Abigail makes her temporary exit. We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to find out what happens with this storyline.
