The Current State Of Affairs

Days of Our Lives spoilers remind fans that both Gwen and Philip are in romances … well, sort of. Gwen has been hopping into bed, here and there, with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), and Philip is completely smitten and in a relationship with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez).

With that said, that doesn’t mean a romance isn’t headed their way. As fans know, Gabi used Philip to gather intel for DiMera Enterprises.

While the company was under Titan at the time, the DiMera family was able to snag the corporation back, and since the de-merger, Titan has been struggling to stay afloat. Once Philip finds out about what Gabi did, it could be game over between the two.

The Brother Factor

Meanwhile, Gwen is merely just sleeping with Xander, and while they were once a thing, they aren’t exactly exclusively dating. It may not take long for this fling of theirs to fizzle.

Still, how would Xander feel if his brother were interested in dating his ex? Would he get jealous? Tell Philip to steer clear? Either way, it would create a sticky situation if Gwen and Philip ever decided to take the jump together.

It’s undeniable that the scenes between Gwen and Philip had sparks, and the two were able to banter back and forth, impeccably. Still, does this mean that fans want to see a romance?
