It was Gwen herself, along with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) who were blackmailed by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) herself into helping her escape from the Salem Police Department jail as she was to have been transported back to Statesville Prison to await trial! Upon seeing it is her beloved boyfriend who is being questioned for Kristen’s escape, Gwen is really feeling guilty!

Gwen feels trapped – she’s darned if she does, and darned if she doesn’t – if she admits her guilt, she’ll lose Xander for that reason but she also feels in danger from Ava and Kristen! Days of Our Lives viewers will remember that when Kristen first tried to get Gwen to break her out, she made her complicit by telling her the truth of what had really happened to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey)! Kristen had told Gwen every detail, including that it was really her disguised as Sarah, not Sarah herself, who dumped Xander for Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and then dumped Rex!

DOOL Spoilers – Gwen Rizchech Worries Xander Cook Will Learn The Truth

Days Of Our Lives viewers know that Gwen is also worried Xander will learn the truth about what Kristen did to Sarah regardless. Gwen talks to Ava about her fears, which Ava tells Gwen to put out of her mind. That’s not easy for Gwen, however, who has developed a conscience since having tried to reform herself for her birth father, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) for all those months!

It doesn’t help when in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives, Gwen heads over to Brady’s Pub and spots Rex, who has come to town for a family visit! Rex, of course has no idea that everyone in Salem has been assuming that he and Sarah had been living happily ever after, since Kristen was sending fake texts to Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) from Sarah’s phone, which she apparently has. She had also arranged for Rex to get a position with Doctors Without Borders, far away from where he and Sarah supposedly live and with little to no cell service!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Gwen Rizchech Must Plot To Keep Rex Brady And Xander Cook From Encountering Each Other

Gwen must plot to keep Rex and Xander from encountering each other, because she doesn’t want any chance of Xander knowing the truth about Sarah! Of course, there is also the possibility that Maggie and Rex could run into each other, and if Maggie finds out the truth she will undoubtedly tell Xander! But the Days of Our Lives winter preview shows it won’t happen that way – Gwen and Xander will be in Horton Town Square and encounter Rex when Gwen and Xander are together; and Xander will find out Rex not only isn’t with Sarah, he has no idea what Xander is talking about!
