Days of Our Lives Spoilers tease that viewers didn’t get see the last few moments of Laura Horton’s (Jamie Lynn Bauer) life which has led fans to speculate whether or not Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) got away with murder. Gwen had every reason to hate Laura, since she is the reason Jack Devereaux (Matthew Ashford) never knew he had another daughter. Laura paid off Gwen’s mother so the young woman grew up hating Jack for abandoning her.

But one shouldn’t feel too sorry for Gwen. Rather than confronting Jack and trying to establish a bond with her newfound sister, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), Gwen dosed Abby’s drink with a drug designed to “fry her brain”. Luckily, the drug’s effects weren’t permanent so Abby eventually recovered.

But that wasn’t enough for Gwen, who then decided to convince Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) that Abigail was cheating on him. All she needed to do then was get Chad drunk, and sure enough Gwen and Chad had sex. And sure enough, Gwen was pregnant but she miscarried and found a way to claim that Abigail purposely made her miscarry. The two sisters have hurt each other more than enough but that may not happen.

She’s capable of frying Abigail’s brain, so murder seems like something seems very much like something Gwen would do, and decided said she would end whoever paid her mother off. Truth came out when Laura went to Gwen’s hotel room and admitted what she had done. Laura and Gwen had words and it looked as if Gwen and would get physically violent.

But the next time Gwen was shown, she was calling Jack because Laura was dead in her hotel room. And while Jack believed Gwen’s story that Laura slipped and hit her head accidentally. But given everything else Gwen has done, Abigail believed that Gwen killed her beloved grandmother on purpose. And if she did kill Laura and got away with it, she may not have Jack either. Could she be plotting to kill Jack next, biding her time until the time it will hurt his family the most?
