Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Gwen Takes Part In Prison Escape – Did She Kill Abigail?

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that under any other circumstance., the prime suspect in Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder would have been her vengeful half-sister Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). Gwen has been out to destroy Abigail ever since she set foot in Salem.

Abigail had her father in her life growing up, but thanks to the interference of the late Laura Horton (Jamie Lynn Bauer), Jack Devereaux (Matthew Ashford) didn’t even know he had another daughter until she revealed herself last year. But Gwen still resented that she was raised by her drug addict mother while Abigail grew up with every advantage.

Gwen contacted Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) and after telling him her sob story, she asked him to supply her with a drug that would “melt Abigail’s brain”. Rolf agreed to help Gwen so once she obtained the deadly concoction, she spiked Abigail’s champagne.

The drug was as potent as Rolf promised because within hours Abigail was hallucinating that her enemies were in the room with her and were about to kill her. Abigail was sent to a treatment facility in Florida where she would be given a combination of drugs and therapy, Abigail was gone for several months but she came home as soon as the hallucinations were gone.

Gwen didn’t think Abigail would ever recover, so once Abigail returned home, Gwen came up with a new plan. He took a job as Abigail’s children’s nanny. This allowed her to pretend to befriend Abigail while all the while making plans to seduce Abigail’s husband Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Gwen was able to convince Chad that Abigail was having an affair with Chad’s brother, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash). Chad was a little too easily and quickly had sex with Gwen. Not long after, Gwen finally told her family her real identity while also gleefully announcing that she was pregnant with Chad’s baby!

According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Gwen and Abigail have been at each other’s throats ever since Gwen revealed herself. When Abigail began writing a story about the disappearance of Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Abigail finally was able to not only reveal Gwen’s role in the crime but made the reveal during Gwen’s wedding to Xander Cook (Paul Tefler). Abigail was thrilled with the fact that Gwen was going to prison. But with Ava Vitale (Tamara Braun) Gwen arranged to leave the prison for a few hours the night that Abigail was murdered.

DOOL Spoilers – Another jailbreak is about to rock Salem!

Gwen is reportedly one of several prisoners who will be making a grand escape soon. But perhaps Gwen should have just stayed right where she is. Because look for authorities to wonder if Gwen had left the prison walls prior to now, perhaps even the night someone murdered Abigail. Because if Gwen was free that night, she’d become the most likely suspect. If Gwen is guilty, look for her to remain on the run.
