Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) will ask Kate and Roman Brady (Lauren Koslow, Josh Taylor) for some help.

He’ll make an offer to get Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) less prison time for getting information from Clyde Weston (James Read) behind bars about the drug problems in Salem.

Harris explains what he wants Lucas to do in order to get time off his sentence-he’s to disguise himself as a priest-which the prison will cooperate with-and listen to conversations.

In particular, he’ll listen to Clyde when he’s in the room with the phone and when he talks to other known associates on the inside, Orpheus (George delHoyo) for instance.

It’s obvious that there’s a prison hierarchy and certain prisoners control others on the inside-Clyde is the controller and even controls the women’s side.

It’s crucial that the police have an inside man who can hear what’s going on without being detected. Even though Clyde knows Lucas, in the priest’s disguise he may not recognize him.

Harris suspects Clyde’s behind the drugs in Salem, and he’s running things from the inside-and he knows that the current district attorney has a history with Clyde.

It was because of Clyde EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) was shot and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) brought him back to life.

As Harris has learned, dead people being brought back to life seems to run in the DiMera family, starting with Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson). Harris can’t prove it yet but he suspects Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is in on the drug running in Salem as well.

Lucas will be equipped with a wire he’ll wear hidden in the priest’s costume and Harris will get the feeds and they’ll be recorded.

Kate talks to Lucas and it’s a deal-he’ll be the Salem PD’s inside informant on all things Clyde and conversations about drug running.

Lucas has had it in for Clyde for a long time and very much wants to be a part of shutting down his drug running empire.

Hearing that kids younger than his are dying and going into comas in Salem makes him even more determined to put a stop to the kingpin’s empire.

It could be dangerous, especially if Clyde figures it out, but Lucas thinks he can outwit him. He can’t wait to get started on his special mission-especially if EJ is outed and punished in the process!
