But after Hattie’s brave decision to impersonate Marlena Evans (also Deidre Hall) to stall “Stefano” Dimera (Stephen Nichols) so Marlena could go save John Black (Drake Hogestyn) from Princess Gina (Kristian Alfonso).

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Stefano DiMera is scary

Even though Stefano is in Steve Johnson’s (also Stephen Nichols) body, that didn’t make him any less obsessed with Marlena. When he discovered Hattie’s deceit, he tried to strangle. She put herself at great risk to help her friends, and Roman definitely noticed. After a long talk, Roman admitted that he may just have a feeling for Hattie after all. Then he kissed her on the cheek. The joy on Hattie’s face as she realized what was happening was apparent. But where do they go from here?

DOOL Spoilers – Working together!

Hattie and Roman work together at the Brady Pub. They will be in close proximity every day but that isn’t the same thing as an actual date? Will Roman take the next step or will he drag his feet. Hattie looks just like Marlena, and Marlena hurt him badly when she chose John over him and even had an affair. Looking at Hattie may bring all of those feelings back so he might find himself hesitant to get involved romantically with someone who looks exactly like his ex.

Even though Hattie is an expert by now at impersonating Marlena, the truth is they are nothing alike. While some might call Marlena somewhat stiff and uptight, Hattie is the polar opposite. The more time Roman spends with Hattie, the less he should see Marlena when he looks at Hattie. She is her own person, and she certainly deserves to look at as herself and not just a copy of Marlena!
