DOOL spoilers reveal that actress Marci Miller isn’t available full-time anymore. So, the head writer and other soap bosses at Corday Productions started talking about what to do with Abigail. In the end, it was decided that Abigail needed to die. Of course, dead characters come back all the time in Salem. This is teased to be a permanent death, though.

When the head writer spoke to Soap Opera Digest, he explained that a lot of different options for Abigail were discussed. Chad and Abigail could always break up, but they wanted Billy Flynn’s character to be able to move on with another love interest. Abigail could just not be seen very much, but they felt that would limit Chad’s storylines.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – What About Kate Mansi Or Another Recast?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Kate Mansi used to play the part of Abigail. As for why she wasn’t brought back to replace Miller, that wasn’t an option. So, it sounds as if Mansi either didn’t want to come back or might be too busy with other projects.

There is always the recast possibility. However, Carlivati said that they decided not to explore that option with Abigail. Abigail has already been recast a few times. Then, there was the rollercoaster of bouncing between Mansi and Miller. Fans didn’t like going back and forth between actors. Plus, recasts can go bad and sometimes just don’t work out.

Dool Spoilers – Murder Mystery Tidbits

As for the murder mystery, there are three suspects at the beginning of the story. Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) wanted to punish Abigail. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) wanted her half-sister dead. Plus, the walls were closing in on Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).

However, it is teased that more suspects will surface as the story progresses. Apparently, there are more people who wanted Abigail dead than anyone realized. So, we will have to keep watching the NBC soap to see who murdered Abigail and why.
