Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal Holly (Ashley Puzemis) making heavy advances on Tate (Leo Howard) in an attempt to proposition him to consummate their relationship. After a run-in with her ex-BFF, Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) leaves Ms. Jonas doubting Tate’s attraction to her, Holly decides to fast track their romance from lip locking to boot knocking before he loses interest. But will she succeed?

In a perfectly executed manipulation that would’ve made even Kristin (Stacy Haiduk) proud, Sophia managed to to plant to a seed of doubt into Holly’s head regarding Tate’s sexuality.

Perhaps the reason Holly and Tate have yet to seal the deal already is because Tate is gay? Holly dismissed the notion but it was clear she wasn’t completely confident that the theory was unfounded. But a sudden revelation in Tate’s sexuality seems unlikely (and would be a cheap shock on writers’ part).

Tate nearly went to jail and did spend months in a rehabilitation center for a crime he didn’t commit all to protect Holly from having to admit that she overdosed from her own drugs supply.

That seems like an awful lot to sacrifice for someone you’re not attracted to. So if Tate is attracted to Holly, will he give in to her advances?

DOOL predictions indicate the night will not go according to Holly’s plan. Instead Tate resists the temptation and insists to Holly that they wait.

With Sophia’s taunts still fresh in her mind, Holly will naturally question if the honeymoon is over and Tate is ready to move on.

But again, with all Salem’s own Romeo and Juliet have done to maintain their relationship behind their disapproving parents’ backs, that theory doesn’t hold must water.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Tate Has PTSD?

Perhaps Tate doesn’t want to end up like his parents. Theresa (Emily O’Brien) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) have said many times that Tate is well aware of his parents struggles with drugs and alcohol which means he is probably also aware his conception wasn’t exactly joyous news at the time.

He knows they have had a tumultuous relationship throughout the years, fighting mostly about him. And his father has struggled even moreso with Kristen, the mother of his other child!

Maybe Tate doesn’t want to risk an unplanned pregnancy ruining their relationship the way he’s seen it ruin his dad’s.

Or perhaps he has a bit of PTSD! He was falsely accused of a crime before when it came to Holly and it nearly ruined his life. Could there still be some unresolved animosity there? Could Tate secretly be afraid of someone accusing him of forcing himself on Holly if they have sex?

Even if he knows Holly would never accuse him of something like that, he can’t be too sure someone like Nicole or EJ wouldn’t? And his mom did just head off to prison for the next 6 months.

After the heart to heart he just had with his dad, maybe the risk being sent to prison along with her and leaving his dad to deal with the guilt of both of their situations is just too much to take on.
