Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Icy Reunion – Marlena Blames Hope For John’s Passing?

Days of Our Lives spoilers hint it’s been a very emotional week in Salem as the little town has said goodbye to a loved one who was connected to many, John Black (Drake Hogestyn).

Of course, the one person hurting the most from all this is John’s beloved widow, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).

Marlena has been struggling, and rightfully so. Could her icy response to seeing Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) for the first time, in a long time, be due to grieving or something else?

Marlena Evans’ Non-Hug

Days of our Lives spoilers for the Wednesday, June 11 episode reveal that many fans picked up on the non-hug Marlena gave Hope when she embraced her friend and offered her condolences.

Of course, Hope and Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) made it to John’s funeral just in time for Bo to pay his last respects to his friend, whom he considered a brother, and the very man who also saved his life.

Marlena seemed fine with Bo, but ice cold with Hope. Now, considering that Bo’s been “asleep” for 10 years and is finally able to reunite with long-lost family and friends, it could be the reason she was a tad warmer. Still, will Marlena blame Bo and Hope, or just Hope, for John’s passing?

Why Was Marlena So Cold?

DOOL viewers can’t help but think a new storyline might be on the horizon where Marlena and Hope are concerned.

Marlena may blame Hope, and not Bo, for failing to protect John (since she was on the mission with him), or she may feel as if Hope’s the reason John’s gone … for whatever reason!

At the end of the day, no one is to blame for John’s accident that led to his passing, but as Marlena and Hope have been friends for so long, an arc like this would be an interesting watch.
