Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Is Abigail DiMera’s Resurrection Confirmed? Clues Point To A Chad & Abby Reunion!

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates suggest that the potential return of Abigail DiMera (most recently Marci Miller) might be firmly established.

Recently, DOOL provided a hint regarding a reunion between Chad DiMera (currently Billy Flynn, soon Conner Floyd) and Abby, which indicates that fans could soon see this beloved couple reuniting in some capacity.

Chad Wondered If The Bones Found Were Abby’s

In the episode airing on December 12, Chad confided in Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) about the unsettling discovery of bones found within the crypt.

Given that Abigail’s remains have never been located, Chad expressed his concern that these bones could possibly belong to her.

Fortunately for Chad, Theo, who has a solid understanding of anatomy, was able to determine that the bones appeared to belong to a male.

This revelation brought a sense of relief to Chad, who may still be harboring a glimmer of hope for Abigail’s survival deep within him. If the show truly intended to resolve the storyline surrounding Abigail, this would have been an opportune moment to do so.

The Writers Could Have Concluded Abigail’s Story By Having Them Be Her Bones

The writers could have made those bones belong to Abigail, providing Chad with the closure he truly needs. Instead, Days introduced the idea of some Abby bones only for Theo to dismiss it.

Those scenes served as a poignant reminder that Abigail might still be alive and that she remains close to Chad’s heart.

Even though Chad attempted to move forward with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and eventually developed feelings for Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), no one can rival his love for Abigail.

She was Chad’s soulmate and deserves a storyline where she returns from the dead, ultimately reuniting them.

It May Still Be A While Before This Happens

While it may take a while for this to unfold, Days is dropping hints that it could be in the pipeline. Conner Floyd is set to debut as a recast for Chad in April 2026, allowing him to carry on Chad’s narrative in Salem.

At some point, Abigail’s return might intertwine with that storyline as well-even if Marci Miller doesn’t come back to the role, Days could introduce a new Abigail in the future.

A recast of Abby could finally bring Chad his true love back-before Clyde Weston (James Read) slipped into a coma, he suggested that Abigail might still be alive.

This could turn out to be true down the line, so keep an eye out for any significant updates regarding Abigail.
