Days of our Lives Spoilers: Is Belle Black Leaving?

Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Emmy-nominated actress Martha Madison has been acting out one of her character Belle Black’s most sensational storylines ever. The DOOL heroine has been in a hot triangle with her onscreen husband Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) but not exactly by choice. It’s complicated!

First and foremost the lovely and talented actress wants her fans to know: “Thank you for sticking with us all of these years. We hope there are many more years of stories to tell.”

She sat down for an interview with Digital Journal and spilled what she thinks about her controversial storyline.

Days of our Lives spoilers: Martha Madison Is Belle Black

Long story short, Shawn impregnated Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) when she appeared to him as Belle. How did she pull that off? The devil had possessed her! Regardless of the sitch, Belle was steamed and turned to EJ. Who will she turn to when everyone finds out that Shawn isn’t really the father?

She said of the Belle, Shawn, and EJ plot, “It has been really fun to see the fan responses. It is always fun to do something different than what you are accustomed to doing, so it was great.”

She also had kind words to say about her co-stars Dan Feuerriegel (EJ DiMera) and Brandon Beemer (Shawn Brady). “I love working with Dan, he is really very smart and he likes to rehearse and I do too. It is really nice to have somebody that really cares as much as he does, and Dan wants to make the scenes great. We really connected right away. I think there is a natural level of camaraderie and chemistry there from the get-go,” she said.

She added, “This storyline has really given me and Brandon [Beemer] some meaty material,” she said about their characters having conflicts on the show. “Brandon and I are so close, we go way back together. It is really fun to try new things, and really stretch the characters a little bit. Brandon really excels with more of that heavy material so it has been really fun to see him shine.”

Days of our Lives spoilers: What Happens Next in Salem?

On a personal note, Madison said that the current phase of her life is, “New Beginnings.”

“This year has really been about starting from a very good place,” she said. That includes serving as Vice President of the One Haus hospitality service. “I am now running a hospitality recruitment firm based out of New York so that has been my primary focus. I’ve spent my entire career in the restaurant and hospitality industry so it’s a great fit,” she said.

As a legacy character Belle will always have a place in Salem, and right now fans are hoping that Madison continues to be front and center for a long time to come.
