The information about the most recent return claim came from a Facebook page using Peter Reckell’s name. Some media outlets stated that it was the actor’s new Facebook account. However, one always has to be careful because people create fake pages all the time.

DOOL Spoilers – Is Bo Brady Returning?

Reckell has previously stated that he had no intention of returning to the soap. However, this particular Facebook page using Reckell’s name wrote,

“So how many that can’t wait ‘til I’m back on Days? Not final but I have been asked to do a surprise drop-in for Ciara; on her behalf for one week. Nothing for certain, but I’m thinking about it…”

When the comments exploded with excitement and encouragement, the Facebook post added,

“[Ahhh], thank you. I am seriously thinking maybe it wouldn’t hurt, but my wife’s career keeps us so busy. It’s hard to fit anything in.”

Before you get too excited, the Facebook page did not actually belong to Reckell. It was soon confirmed to be a fake account. Sorry, it doesn’t look like Peter Reckell is returning as Bo Brady.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Reckell returned once before, however it was extremely brief. He wanted to give fans the closure they needed and shut down Bo’s story. As viewers recall, Hope Brady (formerly Kristian Alfonso) was about to marry Aiden Jennings (formerly Daniel Cosgrove). Without warning, the lawyer turned on Hope and attacked her. Suddenly, Bo burst through the door and saved Hope.

Bo went to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with an inoperable and fatal brain tumor. The condition was triggered by him being held hostage and tortured, which is how his absence was explained. Within 24 hours, Bo died in Hope’s arms and that was the last time we ever saw him.
